GROUP CARE PROGRAM

We provide a full daycare program for children ages 2 ½ to 5 years of age; for 8 hours daily.  The children have an opportunity to participate in the preschool program which is included in the costs of the full daycare.  The center opens from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

A typical day

·                       8:00                Arrival to daycare

·                       8:30  – 9:30    Participate in Preschool Program; Free Play

·                       9:30 – 10:10   Circle Time (prepared program that includes, dance,

                                                phonics, language, music, stories, plays, math, etc.)

·                       10:10 – 10:15 Wash Hands for Snack

·                       10:15 – 10:30 Nutritious Snack

·                       10:30 – 10:50 Craft Time (self-directed art or prepared art activity)

·                       10:50 – 11:30 Outdoor Free Play (large motor activities)

·                       11:30             Preschool Ends (free play)

·                       11:45 – 12:15 Lunch (not provided)

·                       12:30              Rest Time (own cots and appropriate movie or story)

·                       1:15  -   2:00  Free Play (art, stories, individual activities)

·                      1:30  - 2:20     Afternoon program children arrive 
  
                        2:00  -   2:20   Circle Time (stories, music, movement activities, etc)

·                       2:20 – 2:25     Wash Hands for Nutritious Snack

·                       2:25 – 2:45     Nutritious Snack (provided by center)

·                       3:15 – 4:30     Outdoor Free Play

                        4:30 - 5:30       Pick up time
